The ComputeSpectrum-method of ActionScript 3.0 offers only a collection of boring "Floats"... but put them together with Bitmap methods, filters and drawing operations you will get an amazing output. I built a customizable effect generator with various parameters like colors, offsets and automations. I also added a preset list which is parsed and applied via the new XML functionalities from a separate file.

The songs are fetched from a playlist of Webjay and is all of them are under a CC license. For sure Webjay offers a crossdomain-policy file.

NOTE: If the text "null" appears below the Webjay database is down. They got problems with their portal the last few days. It may also take a moment until the MP3s stream starts but it is worth to take these few seconds. Thanks for your patience!
