Papervision3D's popularity is absolutely incredible. Due to the growing ideas and possibilities on PV3D the conceptual process is more intensive and for many people 3D modeling and programming is still a closed book. I'm currently working on a 3D modelling application which will offer fast creation, viewing and editing of a 3D scene and its objects. The export functionalities will provide formats like AS2/AS3 code and hopefully ASE and/or COLLADA. The project is in ALPHA state and we can't provide a preview at the moment but check back soon... we try to get a first preview in the next few weeks. Click the screenshot to get a full-sized view of it. ScreenshotsTrackback(0)

| Looks awesome! That's a Flex interface around it ? Are you using the Collada or ASCollada object ? |
| Hi Ralph, thanks! Yes, it's a Flex interface with some self-build components and modules. The modeller is not only for Collada... it just uses a "standard" Papervision Scene3D. Then the user can setup their own 3D objects by adding them manually via the GUI or load/import them from ASE or Collada files. The screen was taken with 2 separate objects: 1 cube and 1 sphere. |
